A New Look for the 2020-2021 School Year

Like everyone, the COVID-19 pandemic has seriously affected how we operate as a ministry. The gospel is the same, and our vision is the same, but how we are able to meet and function in person may look different for awhile. Our plans may keep evolving as state and campus guidelines change, but here are the current things we’re excited about!

FRESHMEN COMMUNITY GROUPS

Moving to a new place can be intimidating, but having a community of friends makes the transition a lot easier. Our freshmen community groups are mainly led by upperclassmen in the Navs, and we will spend time together discussing real life topics and how the Bible offers us a gospel-centered perspective on life. We will also spend time helping you get oriented to UW and the town of Laramie. These groups are split up by gender, but we hope that the community groups will be able to interact together (as regulations allow) so more friendships can be built. Fill out our online connection form, and we will get you plugged in with a group!

SOPHOMORE/UPPERCLASSMEN COMMUNITY GROUPS

Mainly meeting off-campus, our upperclassmen community groups are also focused on engaging in deep discussions about how the Bible relates to the issues we’re facing in our current culture, world, and life. These groups are co-ed, and they have recently been meeting at different churches in town. If you haven’t been involved in one of our bible studies before, fill out the online connection form about and we will contact you with information about how to join.

JOSHUA TEAM

In the same way that Moses passed the torch to Joshua, every spring we pass the torch to our new and upcoming leaders. If you are a freshman or new student and you want to become a leader in our ministry, sign up for Joshua Team! You will spend time every week growing in bible study, scripture memory, evangelism, and more. You will also learn more about how to serve the students at UW in a greater way. Fill out our connection form, and be sure to mention that you’re interested in Joshua Team!
